BraunAbility® - Honda Power
BraunAbility’s Honda Odyssey comes with a body structure made of 35% stronger steel and a rear frame reinforced by nearly 60%, this is the safest Honda side-entry ever made. The 50/50 ramp design creates a low profile interior look and makes the side door easier to access. The lightweight aluminum ramp extends to allow easy access to the interior for wheelchairs and scooters.
BraunAbility® Honda Power Features
Foldout Ramp
This lightweight aluminum ramp has a durable, nonskid, powder-coated finish ensuring superior traction, and the slotted surface helps to prevent your chair from tracking debris into your wheelchair van. In the event of power failure, the ramp can be operated manually.
Removable Seating
For those who wish to ride up front or even drive from their wheelchair, removable seating makes it easy. Simply unlock the seat base and roll the entire seat out. The seat can be reinstalled into the vehicle just as easily when needed.
Keyless Remote
The accessible functions are controlled by the Honda remote or several interior switches placed for your convenience.
Quiet Drive®
Quiet Drive® reduces noise for a more enjoyable driving experience by using advanced acoustic techniques, resulting in up to 25% overall reduction in wheelchair van noise.
Automatic Door
The wheelchair van’s sliding door opens reliably at the touch of a button. This feature can be activated with the standard keyless entry remote, or with one of the interior control switches.
Wheelchair Tie-Downs
Each wheelchair van includes a standard floor-track and belt system that secures the wheelchair for transit. An optional retractable belt system is versatile and convenient. Independent users can even elect to have an automatic tie-down installed.

The Honda Odyssey Manual Rear-Entry Wheelchair Van allows for options when it comes to seating, including options for either one or two wheelchair van passengers. Customers have the option of a standard mid-row seat, or can opt for aftermarket mid-row seats that are narrow enough to allow for a wheelchair to fit between them. The easy Slide N’Click securing system makes entering and exiting effortless.
