Northstar® with Access360® Power In-Floor Ramp

The Northstar in-floor ramp system, a VMI specialty since 1993, offers an array of accessibility features that simply cannot be matched by vehicles with fold-out ramps. VMI Northstar owners get all of the benefits of an in-floor ramp without the compromise associated with rear-entry or fold-out conversions.

Infloor Ramp
Stowed ramp is protected within the vehicle floor with no squeaking or rattling. In-floor ramp keeps dirt and debris from entering the vehicle cabin.
One-Touch Controls
With a single button control the ramp and door. An indicator light provides service reminders and warnings.
Removable Seating
Removable front seats are equipped with rolling casters, making them easy to remove and lock back into place. The front row floor is free of obstacles to accommodate wheelchairs in the driver and front passenger positions.
PowerKneel®
Lowers the vehicle to provide a reduced ramp angle for easy entry & exit. Can be deactivated for deployment onto a curb.
Northstar® E™ with Access360® Manual In-Floor Ramp
The Northstar E™ manual conversion is designed for wheelchair users with caregivers. Its simple design features front-seat wheelchair access and an in-floor, slide-out ramp. The Northstar E offers practicality, ease of use and other side-entry benefits at an affordable price. The manual in-floor ramp of the Northstar E is easy to stow and deploy and it does not take up valuable interior cabin space when stowed.

Manual In-floor Ramp
The manual in-floor ramp easily deploys with no bending or heavy lifting. When stowed, the slide-out ramp does not take up valuable interior cabin space.
Removable Seating

Flexible Seating Options
The Northstar E has seating capacity for up to 7 people! Ample interior space allows a caregiver to sit next to a wheelchair user in the front or mid-row with the optional single or double flip-up mid-row seating.
Summit™ with Access360® Power Fold-Out Ramp
The VMI Summit fold-out ramp system features a fully powered, fold-out ramp. The Summit ramp stows inside the vehicle cabin and smoothly extends outward when deployed. The ramp is designed with 2” side rails to provide an additional level of comfort when deploying up and down the ramp.

Fold-Out Ramp
When stowed, the VMI Summit fold-out ramp system does not block the interior sliding door handle.
Quieter Ride
The Summit ramp stows inside the vehicle cabin and features an anti-rattle mechanism ensuring a quieter ride.
Ramp Perforations
The ramp perforations help remove debris and provide additional traction for wheelchair access.
PowerKneel®
This suspension system uses hydraulics to lower the vehicle to provide a reduced
ramp angle for easy entry & exit. This feature can be turned on and off for curbside parking.
