BraunAbility® - Under Vehicle Lift
The UVL, or Under Vehicle Lift®, offers an innovative solution to your personal mobility. With the lift mounted underneath the vehicle, it remains out of sight and out of your way until needed. This means easy access, a clear side view and maximum interior space—something your friends and family will appreciate on every trip.
- Lift does not block side door windows, allowing for full visibility
- Lift does not block the doorway, allowing other occupants to enter/exit easily
- A longer platform accommodates larger wheelchairs while still using the original doorway height
BraunAbility® Under Vehicle Lift Features
Inboard Roll Stop
The automatic inboard roll stop serves as a bridge from the platform to the vehicle floor. As a safety feature, platform operation is prevented if the inboard roll stop is occupied.
Handheld Control
The standard hand-held control regulates all van lift functions. For greater convenience, an optional remote control system is available.
Hydraulic Power Pack
The hydraulic power pack for this mobility lift is mounted inside the vehicle, out of the elements. In the event of vehicle electrical failure, the UVL can be operated with the manual backup pump.
Threshold Sensor Mat
If the threshold sensor mat is occupied when the mobility lift is below vehicle floor level, lift operation will be prevented, and visual/audible warnings will alert passengers and attendants to unsafe conditions.
Optional Door Operators
The optional automatic door operators give you complete control of your mobility. The doors can be opened and closed with all standard and optional van lift controls.
BraunAbility® - Millennium Series™ Wheelchair Lift
The Millennium wheelchair lift is the true workhorse of the BraunAbility line. Those who appreciate a strong, stable lifting platform and time-tested durability can choose this wheelchair lift series with confidence. The lift is designed for installation in the side or rear doors of a full-sized van. The Millennium wheelchair lift is fully hydraulic in operation, for both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles.
The Millennium Series™ wheelchair lift is designed for installation in the side or rear doors of a full-sized van. This lift is ideal for independent drivers because of an opening on the side of the lift that allows you to enter either facing the vehicle or from the side, allowing the user to immediately transfer into driver or passenger seats. This lift style comes in three size variations to accommodate ranges of chair sizes and is our most popular lift.

BraunAbility® Millennium Wheelchair Lift Features
Outboard Roll Stop
For your safety, the hydraulic roll stop raises to the vertical position before the platform leaves the ground. Special sensors prevent the platform from raising if the roll stop is not fully engaged. The standard side-entry feature allows boarding of the platform even in tight parking situations.
Switch Arm
The lift’s switch arm features an up/down control, allowing the wheelchair user to control the lift while on the platform.

If the threshold warning plate is occupied when the lift platform is below vehicle floor level, lift operation will be prevented, and visual/audible warnings will alert passengers and attendants to unsafe conditions.

With dual hydraulic lift arms and a design that has withstood the test of time, the Century Series™ wheelchair lift offers all of the benefits of a BraunAbility® wheelchair lift in a streamlined, economical package. The simplified electrical system offers trouble-free operation, while the non-hydraulic, spring-loaded roll stop keeps your chair securely on the wheelchair lift platform throughout the lifting cycle.
The Century Series™ wheelchair lift is fully hydraulic in operation, for both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles. Lift operation involves the standard handheld control, the on-lift controls, or the optional remote control.
The Century Series™ wheelchair lift is designed for installation in the side or rear doors of a full-sized van.
