Hands Controls
Hand Controls were created to allow drivers with paraplegia, limited dexterity, motion, and/or tensor control to drive a vehicle.
Sure Grip Hand Control Options:
Push/Rock Left Hand
Unlike other hand controls styles, the push/rock system puts the operating handle in a vertical position; the driver eases the handle back to accelerate and pushes forward to brake. This unique rocking motion allows full-range braking and acceleration with minimal hand travel while keeping the hand in a natural position. Sure Grip’s Push/Rock controls are known for having the easiest gas in the industry today thus, allowing for hours of fatigue free driving.
Push/Right Angle Left Hand
Unlike other Push Right/Angle controls, the Sure Grip Push Right/Angle’s body doesn’t pivot or move when the accelerator is applied. The pivot point for the Sure Grip control is on the left-hand side of the wheel, and only the handle pivots. AutoLock is an accelerator lock-out device that comes standard on all of Sure Grip’s hand controls, and is an added safety feature for the driver or those that share the vehicle.
Push/Pull Left Hand
The Sure Grip Push/Pull hand control uses the same movement to apply the gas and brake as other Push/Pull controls; however the pivot point for the Sure Grip control is on the left-hand side of the wheel close to the handle, this allows for a shorter stroke and greater leverage. In addition to the pivot point, the handles position is at a slight angle, an angle that makes a big difference to the driver.
Push/Twist Left Hand
The Sure Grip Push/Twist control uses the same motorcycle style acceleration as other Push/Twist controls, but has an auxiliary handle that makes the twisting motion easier and allows for longer, more comfortable driving. In addition to the unique benefits enjoyed with our other hand controls, such as increased leg room and ease of use. Superior pedal feel offer constant acceleration and no “dead spots.”
Push/Rock Right Hand
Sure Grip’s Push/Rock right side controls are known for having the easiest gas in the industry today thus, allowing for hours of fatigue free driving. Unlike other hand controls styles, the push/rock system puts the operating handle in a vertical position; the driver eases the handle back to accelerate and pushes forward to brake. This unique rocking motion allows full-range braking and acceleration with minimal hand travel while keeping the hand in a natural position.
Push/Right Angle Right Hand
Unlike other Push/Right Angle controls, the Sure Grip Push/Right, right-hand side, does not pivot or move when the accelerator is applied. The pivot point for the Sure Grip control is on the right hand side of the wheel, and only the handle pivots. A stationary main body offers drivers a stationary brake rod, no “in your lap” issues and an extremely short throw.

Cable Conversion Kit
When hand controls are installed leg room issues can still occur from time to time. In order to address this, Sure Grip offers a new cable conversion kit. With this kit you are able to change standard controls to cable driven controls to create more leg room. The system replaces the traditional rod and tube accelerator linkage with a cable. It can be used with your existing set of controls and convert the solid gas linkage to the cable style accelerator.
Tri-Pin Operating Handle
The Tri-Pin handle is great for the independent driver with minimal gripping strength and/or reduced wrist stability.
Note: This optional handle is only available with the Push/Rock hand control style.
V-Grip Operating Handle
The V-Grip handle is for drivers with moderate gripping strength.
Note: This optional handle is only available with the Push/Rock hand control style.
Quad Grip Operating Handle
The Wrist support handle is great for drivers with minimal gripping strength and/or reduced wrist stability.
Note: This optional handle is only available with the Push/Pull and Push/Right Angle hand controls.
Stubby Operating Handle
This Stubby handle is a lower profile knob that requires less finger griping.
Note: This optional handle is only available with the Push/Rock hand control style.

Left Foot Accelerator with Electronic AutoLock
Sure Grip’s new Left Foot Accelerator with electronic AutoLock was developed to limit if not eliminate your liability. By all but eliminating any chance the device can be used by anyone other than the intended user. Sure Grip’s unique 15 second activation window only allows the accelerator to be activated for 15 seconds after vehicles start up. The accelerator will not engage after 15 seconds without a restart of the engine.
Removable Left Foot Gas Pedal
Sure Foot was designed to offer you a left foot gas pedal which acts exactly like your vehicle’s existing gas pedal. Sure Foot removable features a quick-release base so the entire assembly can be removed and re-installed quickly and easily. To remove the gas pedal, simply loosen the thumbscrew and lift the entire main assembly off the base. To re-install, place the main assembly on the base (two locator pins helps you line up the holes) and tighten the thumbscrew.
Removable Left Foot Gas Pedal Guard
Sure Foot was designed to offer you a left foot gas pedal which acts exactly like your vehicle’s existing gas pedal. Sure Foot Removable features a quick release base so the entire assembly can be removed and re-installed quickly and easily. Attached to the aluminum base, Sure Foot removable comes equipped with an adjustable pedal guard. Fits virtually any vehicle and can be installed easily into your vehicle.
Gas and Brake Guard
This light weight but durable guard prevents accidental contact with both brake and accelerator pedals. Available in SURE GRIP’s easy to use design, it also comes in quick release format models. Convenient built-in handle makes this guard simple to install.
Gas and Brake Guard
The new A208 Gas Pedal Guard from Sure Grip. Instead of using the traditional method of bolting the gas guard to the floor of your vehicle, the A208 utilizes the studs of the OEM gas pedal for mounting, completely eliminating the need to drill holes in your vehicle’s floor. Once installed, the pedal simply slides in and out of it’s mount, making removal and replacement simple and effortless.

Spin Master Spinner Knob
With Spin Master’s innovative, clamshell design, one size fits all steering wheels. Unlike other spinner knobs on the market, the design will leave no permanent damage to your steering wheel. Spin Master adds a quick-release function – remove and refit at the touch of a button! Available in three colors: Black, Grey and Wood-Grain.
Tri-Pin
Great for the independent driver with minimal gripping strength and/or reduced wrist stability.
V-Grip
For drivers with moderate gripping strength.
Single Pin
This is a great alternative to the spinner knob; for clients that can not open their hand fully.
Amputee Ring
Designed for drivers with a Prosthetic hook

Available in versions increments so as to offsets any Sure Grip steering device when using with reduced effort steering systems.
Steering Wheel Extension
The Steering Wheel Extension is individually customizable, easily removable and completely compatible with any OEM steering wheel. It has 3 points of secured contact. The extension is leather wrapped and hand stitched offering first-rate quality and comfort. Far more serviceable and user-friendly than permanently installed extensions.
Secondary Controls
The controls of today’s vehicles have options which can be difficult for some drivers to reach or engage. Secondary Controls are products that help drivers get these controls back within reach with easy to press buttons, remote transmitters and more.

Sure Switch
With the Sure Switch directional control you can operate your vehicle’s peripheral driving functions at the touch of a button! Designed to complement the Sure Grip Hand Control, the Sure Switch allows you to control the following functions with just the tip of your finger: Headlights (on/off & dim/bright), Turn signals, Hazard flashers, Horn and Washer/wipers.

Easyspin RF360
The Easyspin RF360 utilizes precise radio frequencies to operate secondary functions wirelessly, interfacing with CANbus, LINBus, and Bluetooth functions. The Easyspin RF360 offers over six functions from the stylish ergonomic spinner.
Plug and Play Airbag Shunt
The new Sure Grip SH103 Airbag Shunt allows you to easily avoid the airbag warning light associated with knee bolster airbag removal. With an easy plug and play fitting, it installs in less than 5 minutes. Universal to most vehicles with knee bolster airbags.
RFMAX
The RFMax Wireless spinner knob allows for a fully customized switch layout to meet your driving needs. Utilizing over 6 different buttons and switches, with a multitude of layouts, the RFMax is the latest in driving customization.

This new secondary control is a great option for any customers that do not have great grip or dexterity. This original design allows for greater palm contact and brings the buttons closer to your fingers for ease of use and better feel.

Adapted Shifter
The adapted shifter knob is a direct replacement for the original factory knob which allows the gear selector to be moved using only the palm of your hand rather than the use of your thumb to depress a button to move the gear selector.
Park Brake Extension
This easy-to-install brake extension brings the manual park brake closer to driver, for more convenient access.
Signal Crossover
This crossover is an easy to use device that allows operation of the signal function from the right hand side of the steering column. It is installed easily and only takes only a few minutes.
Dual Gas and Brake Control Arm
This control was designed to allow for control of braking and acceleration functions from the passenger side of the vehicle. The control was originally intended to give trainers additional control of the vehicle during training sessions. Some therapists are now having Dual Brake & Gas installed in the client’s vehicle and conducting training in the clients own vehicle.
Pedal Extenders
These quick to install pedal extenders are used to bring the gas and brake pedals closer to the driver.
The pedal extenders are adjustable 2-4 inches.
